Account Executive (US)

The role in one line

You are our first sales hire in the United States, owning new business across US time zones and shaping how Airstride sells into the market where most of our category's buyers sit.

United StatesFull timeRemote$120,000 to $150,000

Fully remote, anywhere in the US. There is no office to come into and no relocation attached to this role.

This role pays $120,000 to $150,000 base, with on-target earnings of $240,000 to $300,000. The range is the range: we do not hold back a band and we do not expect you to negotiate against yourself.

Airstride is the modern PRM for modern CRMs. Attio, folk and Zoho are first-class connectors here rather than roadmap items, and every incumbent in the category treats them as an afterthought.

The US is where most partner programs are being built, and it is where the incumbents are strongest. You are the person who takes that argument into the market, in the market's own time zone.

This is a first hire, not a seat on an existing team. You will run the full cycle, and you will have a real say in how the US motion is built, from territory to messaging to what we do about the tools we replace.

What you will do

  • Own new business across the United States, from first touch to signature.
  • Build a US pipeline from scratch: outbound, network, events, and the inbound the site produces.
  • Run discovery and demos yourself, including the CRM connection.
  • Work security reviews and procurement with enterprise buyers who will ask about SSO and white-labelling on the first call.
  • Establish what a repeatable US sale looks like, and write it down for the people who come after you.
  • Report back on how the market differs from what we see in Europe, in enough detail that product and marketing can act on it.

What we are looking for

  • You have closed B2B SaaS new business in the US as an individual contributor and hit your number doing it.
  • You have sold at a company early enough that you built pipeline rather than received it.
  • You can run a technical demo unaided.
  • You are comfortable being the only person in your time zone for a stretch of the day.
  • You are curious about partner programs, because your buyers run them for a living.

Nice to have

  • You have sold PRM, partner or channel software before.
  • You have been an early US hire for a European company.
  • You have a network among partnership leaders.

What does being the first US hire mean here?

It means the territory is yours and so is the ambiguity. There is no US playbook to follow, because you are the one writing it.

It also means you are not alone on the work. The founders sell, the forward deployed engineers run the migrations, and marketing is producing the inbound. What is missing is someone who owns the market.

How we hire

The same process for every role, published so you know what you are walking into.

  1. Application

You send the form on the role page. Every application is read by a person, and you get an answer either way.

  2. Intro call

A conversation with someone on the team about what you have done and what you want next. This is also your chance to work out whether you want the job.

  3. The practical

A working session on a real problem from the role, done together rather than set as homework. No take-home tests you never hear back about.

  4. Meet the team

You talk to the people you would work with, including a founder. We answer anything you want to ask about the company, the numbers and the plan.

  5. Offer

If it is a yes from both sides, we make an offer and explain how we arrived at it.
