See which partners are engaged

The Engagement page scores every partner out of 100 and sorts them into tiers, so the ones going quiet stand out. Open a partner to see why, and use Partner Activity to follow the emails they send you.

Before you begin

  • A vendor account that can read partners and read analytics. Engagement needs both. Partner Activity needs permission to read partners.
  • Partners invited to your portal, so there is activity to measure.
  • For Partner Activity, a few minutes in Deal Configuration to turn on activity intake.
Step 1

Find the quiet partners

Open Engagement from the navigation. Five tiles summarise your partner base: Partners, Healthy, At risk, Critical and Median score. An Engagement trend chart shows the median score over the last eight weeks. Two short lists sit beside it: Most engaged, your three most active partners, and Needs attention, the three with the lowest scores.

The Partner overview table lists everyone, ranked by score. Search by name, or filter to Healthy, At risk or Critical. Each row shows the partner's health tier, score, a trend of Improving, Stable or Declining, target attainment, how many signals the score is based on, and a re-engage verdict. Partners with no score yet are shown as Insufficient data.

  3. Each row shows a score out of 100, a trend, and how many signals the score rests on.
Step 2

Open a partner to see why

Click any row to open that partner. Engagement health gives the tier, the score as Score out of 100, and how many signals it rests on. A Why? list explains the score in words. Below it are six signals, each marked On track, Worth a look or Needs attention:

  • Last login: days since the partner last signed in.
  • Views / week: training and content views, with a four-week trend.
  • Deal-reg gap: days since the partner last registered a deal, against its own 90-day baseline.
  • Training pace: training steps completed a week.
  • Deal cycle: open deals that have stalled.
  • KB activity: knowledge base queries a week.

A signal with nothing to measure says No data yet. The page also shows engagement over time, how the partner engages (Slack, Email, Agent or Portal), where the partner is heading, and a Recommended action of Double down, Monitor, Consider dropping or Review tier. Re-engagement worth sits beside it, with the factors behind it.

If your organisation has connected HubSpot, a HubSpot activity card adds sessions, calls, demos, customer meetings and emails with that partner, newest first.

Step 3

Follow what partners send you

Partner Activity logs the emails your partners send. First turn it on. In Organisation settings, open Deal Configuration, find Activity intake, switch on Enable activity intake and save. Copy the inbound email address shown there, then forward or BCC partner emails to it.

On Partner Activity, the Activity timeline tab shows one contact at a time. Pick a contact and you see each entry with its sender, a source of Forwarded email, Note or CRM sync, how long ago it arrived, the subject and a preview. Switch between Newest and Oldest first.

Emails Airstride cannot match to a partner contact wait in the Review queue, under Unmatched emails, with a count on the tab. Choose the right contact for each and select Assign. When the queue is empty it says Queue is clear.

Where to go next

Common questions

Who can see the Engagement page?

Vendor users who can read both partners and analytics. Anyone else sees Not available. Partners do not see how they score.

What do the tiers mean?

Healthy, At risk and Critical group partners by their engagement score out of 100. A partner with no score yet shows a dash and the tier Insufficient data. Where the lines fall between tiers is set in your engagement settings, so the same score can sit in different tiers for different organisations.

Why does a score say it is based on 4 of 6 signals?

A signal that has no data for that partner is marked No data yet and left out. The score is worked out from the signals that do have data, and the page tells you how many that is.

What if a partner never logs in but still works with us?

The partner detail page shows how that partner engages: Slack, Email, Agent or Portal. A partner who engages off the portal is labelled as such, so a low login count is not read as silence.

What does Worth re-engaging mean?

Re-engagement worth is a second score out of 100, shown next to the engagement score. It weighs engagement tier, partner fit, historical deal value and how recently the partner went quiet. The verdict is one of Worth re-engaging, Monitor, Deprioritise or Re-engagement not needed.

What does the Approaching tiers tab show?

Partners ranked by how close they are to their next tier, so you can put effort where the gap is smallest. You can filter by partnership motion.

How do emails get onto a timeline?

Forward or BCC a partner email to your Airstride inbound address, found in Deal Configuration under Activity intake. Airstride logs it on the matched partner contact. With intake switched off, forwarded emails are treated as deal referrals instead.

What if an email cannot be matched?

It goes to the Review queue under Unmatched emails. Choose the right contact and select Assign, and the email is logged to that contact's timeline.
