Before you begin

  • A vendor login. Partner users do not see Partner Discovery, the Marketplace or Prospect Lists in the sidebar.
  • Permission to use AI partner sourcing for Partner Discovery, and permission to read the Marketplace and partner lists for the other two pages.
Step 1

Set up your profile and review Sourced Partners

Open Partner Discovery in the sidebar. If you have not set a profile yet, you see Find your next 100 partners. Choose Setup partner profile. The Partner Intelligence Agent asks what industries your ideal partners operate in, and a Partner Profile panel builds as you answer. It collects:

  • Partner industries
  • Partner types
  • Customer industries
  • Regions & countries
  • Description

Once the profile is active, Partner Discovery opens on Sourced Partners: Carmen scans the market against your profile and surfaces matches for you to triage. Use the tabs to switch between Sourced today, Total sourced, Watchlist and Gold Partners.

Search by name, domain or what the company does. Choose Filters to narrow down your sourced partners by:

  • Company stage: Pre-seed, Seed, Series A, Series B, Series C+ or Public.
  • Region: Europe, EMEA, North America, Americas, APAC or Global.
  • Minimum fit score: Any score, 60%, 70%, 80% or 90% and above.
  • Show excluded partners.

Switch between Grid and List view. Each partner has a star to add it to your watchlist, and a menu with View Partner insights and Dismiss partner. When you dismiss, you pick a reason:

  • Not a fit
  • Wrong segment / industry
  • Wrong region
  • Competitor / conflict
  • Already engaged elsewhere
  • Too small / too early stage
  • Too large for our motion
  • Duplicate
  • Other

Step 2

Read a partner's fit score

Open a partner with View Partner insights. The Fit Score card shows the score out of 100 and a label: Strong Fit, Good Fit or Moderate Fit. Choose Click to view score breakdown to open the Fit Scoring drawer.

The drawer lists twelve criteria. Each shows its name, a short description and the points earned out of the maximum. Together the maximums add up to 82 points, and the score is scaled to 100. The criteria and their maximums are:

  • Service Offering/Solutions: 19 points
  • Target Customer Segments/Industries: 19 points
  • Partner Program or Alliances Page: 10 points
  • Geographic Presence: 10 points
  • Sales and Consulting Services: 5 points
  • "Partner With Us" CTAs/Forms: 5 points
  • Tech Stack/Vendor Partners: 4 points
  • Case Studies/Clients: 3 points
  • Marketplace Listings: 3 points
  • Certificates/Authorisations: 2 points
  • Blog/Thought Leadership: 1 point
  • Leadership/About Page: 1 point

The two biggest criteria are what the partner sells and who it sells to. They are worth 19 points each, which is why your profile matters most: it is what each partner is compared against.

Step 3

Browse the Marketplace

Open the Marketplace in the sidebar to find and connect with potential partners worldwide. Type in Search partners, or choose Filters. Filter Partners groups its fields like this:

  • Location: Country, Headquarters, City and Regions.
  • Company Size: Employee Bands and Revenue Bands.
  • Business: Industries and Company URL.

Open a partner to see its Company Profile: website, industry, business model, company size, employees, revenue, headquarters, region, founded year and growth stage. Results are paged at the bottom of the list.

Step 4

Save prospects to a list

Choose New list, then Company List. Enter a List Name and choose Create List. To add a partner, use Save to list on its card and pick the list, or choose Create new list from the same menu.

To save several at once, select partners or use Select All, and the count shows as partners selected. The menu next to it adds them all to a list in one go.

Your lists live under Prospect Lists, on the Saved Company List tab. Each card shows its name, when it was last updated and how many partners it holds. Open a card to see the partners inside. With full access to a list, the card menu offers Edit, Share and Delete.

Where to go next

Common questions

Where does the fit score come from?

Airstride compares each partner against your Ideal Partner Profile across twelve criteria, such as the services it offers, the customers it serves, whether it runs a partner programme and where it operates. Each criterion has a maximum number of points, and the Fit Scoring drawer shows what the partner earned on each.

Why do I see a percentage in one place and a score out of 100 in another?

Sourced Partners shows the score as a percentage, for example Fit score 86%. The partner's own page shows the same kind of score as a number out of 100. Read them the same way: higher is a closer match.

What do Gold, Silver and Bronze mean?

They are fit tiers. Gold Partners is one of the tabs on Sourced Partners, and each partner shows a tier badge in the list view. A partner with no score, or that is not a match, shows a dash instead of a tier.

What is the difference between Partner Discovery and the Marketplace?

Partner Discovery is driven by your Ideal Partner Profile: the agent finds and scores matches for you. The Marketplace is a searchable list of potential partners that you filter yourself.

How often does Partner Discovery find new partners?

Open Source frequency from the More actions menu. It runs a fresh pass against your profile weekly, on Mondays at 09:00 UTC.

Can I change my profile later?

Yes. Choose Refine IPP on Sourced Partners, or open View IPP Summary from the More actions menu to see the profile first.

What happens to a partner I dismiss?

It leaves your active list. Open View dismissed partners from the More actions menu and choose Restore partner to bring it back.

Can a teammate use my list?

Yes. On a list card you have full access to, open the menu and choose Share. You pick a teammate and a permission level. Only people with full access see the Edit, Share and Delete options.
